payment solution services GmbH and SSG Lange & Partner AG team to develop joint ePayment solution
New payment terminal will accept both the justpay football payment card and the Girokarte debit card for contactless payments at stadiums
Hamburg, Germany, February 2012 – Contactless payment solution provider payment solution services GmbH (pss) and SSG Lange & Partner AG (SSG) are teaming to develop a new payment terminal that provides German football fans more convenience in making contactless payments at sporting events. The new payment terminal will enable stadiums to accept both the popular justpay football payment card and the Girokarte bank debit card for contactless payments. pss provides and operates the justpay payment system at football stadiums throughout Germany and SSG provides an open payment system based on the contactless payment function girogo, which is a prepaid method integrated into the Girokarte.
With a single terminal solution, justpay card holders can use their Girokarte cards when at away games. Both payment cards allow fans to speed through the queue when purchasing beverages or food with fast, easy and convenient payments. Girokarte holders need only top up the girogo chip at their home bank before entering the stadium.
