Munich, February 2010 – Since January 2010 Achim Hirz (41) has now been Chief Financial Officer of payment solution AG in Munich. Within the company, which is an expert for ePayment and multi-functional client card systems, Mr. Hirz assumes the lead of “Strategic Financial Planning”, “Finances” and “Human Resources”. He is, next to Thomas Maier, who is chairman of the board, and Heinz-Peter Strömsdörfer (CSO&COO), the third member of the board of payment solution AG, which is expanding constantly.
As a post-graduate Mr. Hirz, who has got a Master in Business Administration, collected his first work experiences as a financial trainee at Philip Morris GmbH (Germany) and was later on as “Financial Specialist for taxes and special projects” responsible for the strategic tax planning and structural optimisation. From 2002 until mid-2008 Mr. Hirz worked as Finance Director at Oakley GmbH and was responsible for Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Poland. From mid-2008 until the end of 2009 Mr.Hirz was Oakley Inc.s’ (USA) General Counsel concerning their pan-European strategic reorientation and reorganisation.
