Payment solution AG, Munich/Germany, and ArenaPremier, Miami/Florida, are teaming up for joint RFID projects in the leisure & entertainment market.
Payment solution AG, provider of technology and expertise in cashless payment solutions and customer card systems, and ArenaPremier, supplier of access & ticketing systems with a strong customer base in Latin America, have agreed to jointly market and implement total solutions based on RFID (Radio Frequency Identification), i.e. contactless chip technology. With a focus on the leisure & entertainment market, both companies intend to leverage from the growing demand from operating companies in the Americas for integrated and cashless solutions including ticketing, access, restaurant, food outlets, retails stores etc. Using advanced RFID chip technology, multi-functional cards will be the only medium a visitor needs to get access to venues, pay for food or any retail item in stadiums, arenas and theme parks. Increased convenience for guests and notable gains in operational efficiency as well as valuable data on customers' purchase behavior, lead to higher revenues and profits for operating companies. The cooperation will also include the operation of such systems.
